Chair’s Report

It gives me great pleasure to present this year’s Chair’s Report on behalf of the Hillcross Primary School Childrens’ Fund Charitable Trust. Once again, we are grateful for the continued support and generosity of our parents, carers, extended families, and the wider community. Your contributions, both financial and through volunteering your time, have had a significant impact on the learning experiences and opportunities we have been able to provide for our children this year.

Thanks to direct donations and a wide range of fundraising activities, including textile recycling, our ever-popular Pedal Push, Christmas collectibles, school performances, pre-loved uniform sales, and other community purchases, we raised a substantial sum this year. Every penny has gone towards enriching our children's educational experience beyond the core curriculum.

The Trust has been able to fund a wide variety of resources and activities across the school. These include:

...along with numerous other items and opportunities that directly benefit our children’s experience of school.

It is heartening to see how, through the collective efforts of our community, we continue to provide enrichment activities and resources that complement and enhance the normal curriculum. These experiences not only foster creativity, curiosity, and engagement but also contribute to our children’s personal development and wellbeing.

On behalf of the Trustees, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the Trust this year, whether through donations, attending events, volunteering, or simply spreading the word. It is only through your ongoing generosity and commitment that we are able to continue providing these valuable opportunities for our children.

We look forward to building on this success in the coming year.
