The trustees have adopled the prowsions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financlal Reporting StandaTd applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 (effective 0111 january 20191. OBJECTIVES AND ACTivmES AIM Our aim is the prevention and relief ot poverty to create an environment where theycan lead a happyand healthy life. OBJECTNES The objects ofthe Charity are set out in the Charty'sTrust Deed and are summarised as foilows:_ Providing and assisting in the provision ot edu¢8tion. training and healthcare pfojectswhi¢h WÉU support the orphan8 and enable them to generate sustainable income èventually becoming ¥elf-sufficient. To relieve the poverty of wullg people enablingthem to partiCiF4te in healthy. educational and recreational activities that were othernmse unaffordable. STRATEGY Our strategyfor the achievement of these objects is to ideniify areas where emeoency or piiority help is required and then to start projects that will meet the needs of the orphans. We then fundraise for those projects and establish them on the ground with the help of vc4unleers. We assist and monitor the progress and delivery of the projects thereafter. USE OF VOLUNTEERS The trustees are developing a pool ot volunteers to assist with their work. The trustees are extremely grateful for the efforts ofthe volunteers and the publi¢ who support our appealsand have undertaken thefundrnisingwithin theif spare tim8 to help those less fortunate. Love40rphans are putting in place avolunteer policywith due diligence and codes of conduct. RELIEFOFHARDSHIPACTivrriES During the year under review. the Charity has supported orphans and extremely poor tsmilies in the SWhet district of Bangladesh by providing food and clothing. Dufing the period under rewew, the Charity has also supported the purchase of Land in Mauritania to help with the development of an orphanage and schocA. FUTURE PLANS The Charity will look to continue raising funds. spending the monies fa¢sed to provide support and aid to the poorer families. widows and orphans in the Sylhet district of Bangladesh. srRUCTURE.
