Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Team Poundie has undertaken to help many dogs and families, throughout very tough times. Many dogs now come to us that have not received any veterinary treatment and are suffering as a result. We have also aimed to assist families with food, so that their dogs can be fed and kept within their family home rather than handed into rescue. It has been extremely hard this year to keep up with requests for help, but we have strived to ensure everything we do focuses on that of public benefit and supporting the needs of individuals and their dogs. Those dogs that require extra behavioural work to ensure their best hope of success in a new home, are given the time and patience they need.

Section D Achievements and performance
Our main achievements this year have been to continue helping many Summary of the main dogs with little hope, increasing our network of extremely good kennels achievements of the charity and behaviourists and continuing to increase our support through a tough during the year financial climate. Our volunteers are extraordinary, who have one aim in mind – to make the lives of so many dogs better and to ease their suffering. Team Poundie has helped many dogs throughout the year and supported other rescues. We have increased the intake of long term fosters, due to the increase of amazing dedicated foster homes. These are dogs with long term health issues, who would be unlikely to be adopted due to the costs of treatment for example dogs with heart problems and end of life care.
