Para 1.20 Each year HELP Dadaab provides distance-

qualifcaton, to refugees and residents in
Dadaab camps. The courses are provided by
Cambridge Internatonal College (CIC), whose
qualifcatons are recognised all over the world.
HELP Dadaab invited applicatons from potental
students for Distance Learning Diploma Courses
in subjects of their choice. These potental
students were unable to access educaton
elsewhere.
The project successfully distributed learning
materials to 167 sponsored students, enhancing
their educatonal experience and supportng
their academic needs for the year through
distance learning
HELP Dadaab and their sponsors; ANGEL
WELFARE AND EDUCATION TRUST (AWET) were
able to provide laboratory materials for the
students at Afweyne Secondary school. The
school had a laboratory structure that was
already there but lacked the materials, AWET
was able to fund the whole project and provide
the school with the required laboratory
products
Through the generosity of the Walters Family in
funding this project, HELP Dadaab was able to
construct two classrooms at Northern
Cambridge School in Dadaab, This enhanced the
educatonal facilites thand accommodated
more students in the region.

HELP Dadaab secured funding from the Network for Social Change charity to train community mobilizers in Dadaab, focusing on enhancing their skills and knowledge to effectively engage and mobilize community members. This initiative empowers local leaders to address community challenges and promote social cohesion. Through the generosity of the Priestley family, Help Dadaab was able to donate 50 school desks to Northern Cambridge School in northeastern Kenya. During 2024 Help Dadaab has funded 15 casual teachers. These teachers have been distributed to various different schools within the North Eastern area of Kenya where there is a severe shortage of teachers For the last 2 years HELP Dadaab has sponsored 2 females and 1 male medical students on a Diploma Medical course, studying at the North Coast Medical Training College in Kilifi county. Once graduated, these students will be a valuable asset to their communities.
