As well as our work in the refugee
camps, we've been assisting two
schools in the Dadaab area. We have
funded teacher’s salaries and provided
textbooks and learning materials.
This year we continued to fund a
Kenyan youth to continue his
education and attend High School.
We funded the building of three
classrooms for a school in the Dadaab
regions and also donated laboratory
materials to them
We purchased text books in Nairobi
and donated them to three schools in
Dadaab area.
We donated Laboratory materials to
Cambridge High school.
We were donated various materials
and shipped these in a container for
Dadaab residents. These were: 85 rolls
of mosquito netting which were
delivered to Dadaab and Kakuma and
were made up into mosquito nets then
handed over to UNHCR, 44 Boxes
women’s sanitary pads and
80 boxes assorted children’s textbooks
The charities founder, Abdi Khalif,
travelled to Kenya in the summer to
invigilate the student’s exams and to
meet UNHCR and camp elders and
local government officials to explain
our work and to understand the
requirements of the communities.
