Trustee Appointments The Pastor of the church 15 ex-officwJ the chairperson of the Board of Tnjstees and their FX)Srtion is reviewed Iwo years after apFM)intment and then every four years after that. The remaining Trustees are apwinta annually by the members of Penycae Neighbourhood Church of The Nazarene at the annual general meeting held in Febnjary each year. Governance and Wlder Network The Board of Trustees meets regulaty, nonnalty on a monthly basis to consider the work and management of the church and assess and plan the financial and other aspects oflhe work and direction of the charity. Support of the new Penycae Ftying Start charity who continued to be located in the church buikling. This supports tildren from refeTred families in the local neighborhocKI. The registered provKler Janet Dean is a rrEmber of the church and the chur¢h board supp)rt her as she manages the projecl. There was a steep decline in Ihe numbers of children accessing the Centre, which lead lo a decrease in funding. Weekty mlings continued for the more mature individuals in the Penycae area. Continuing to develop links wrth the thal comrnunity. to enhanGe the involvement of the church wrth relevant bGal agenGies on behalf ofthe k)cal communty. Continue to partner wtth and make the church building 8V8ilable to relevant local agencies seeking to benefrt the local communty, such agencies include but are not restricted to Wrexham County Borough Counol, T.C.G. and lo(xl Gommunity forums. Signifi¢ant aGtivitres during the perKyJ include: Weekly worship services conducted by Pastor Traw Day wrth assistance and input from the pastoral and w¢)rship teams. Youth meetings (during tem time) for interactM)n in a safe environment to enable them to grow and develop spirilualty, socialty and individually. These meeting$ would usualty be weekty. Volunteers The work planned, activtties undertaken and achievements attainèj woukd not have been possible without the active involvement and hard work of all of the members and friends of the chanty wrthout whom the Substantial work ofthe chartty could not be realised. The B(wd of Trustees is grateful for the wotk and support of all the members and friends of Penycae Neighbouthood Church of The Nazare￿. Financial Review Reserves The charity does not have a Fdicy on reserves as the expenditure and Work of the chanty is reliant upon the ongoing supporL lrthes and offerings of the members and friends received at the Week￿ meetings. The Board of Tnjstees reviews on a monthly basis the anticipated income and expenditure for the next to three months in order to ensure the ongoing work of the charity. Flnancial Review of the Year The charity has continued throughout the perKKI to meet and taibr the expenditure rt incur5 to the income received through rent for use of the building and through the offetings and donations received. The trustees encourage those that can, to pay direct to the charity by slanding order while cash ks counted weekly by Iwo trustees. The receipts and paymerrt account shows thatthere was a nel increase in Ga5h furHls during the year of £1,536. this t(NJether with the reduction in the liabilities, the loan to Flying Start £5,500 and mortgage on the manse of£3,538. gave an over211 increase in funds of£10,574, as detailed by the assets and liabilities in the financial statements. £100,757 of the unreslnGled funds are set aside in desvJnat￿l funds leaving £11,189 of general funds avaiLable as cash in hand and at the bank. Al the end of the summer teTm Penycae Ftying Slart requested the Church help fund the setting until the funding was re￿IVed for the September tem. A loan was made to the charity of £5.500.
