The Trustees have made efforts lo have the frozen funds released and are endeavouring to open an account. FINANCIAL REVIEW Flnanclal posltlon The charity was not actively fundraising in the period as the Trustees have been unable to defray funds in hand for charitable purposes because of the bank's unwarranted treatment of Charitable Trust account. Unrestricted funds carried forward total £143,038 {2024 £143.0381. The restricted funds include funds earmarked for a wheelchair aCsSible roundabouvcarousel of £10,000 12024 £10,000). Reserves pollcy The Iruslees are aware of the requirement for a reserves policy but are equally conscious that the historic Funds balance reflects the non-recurring grant from the now defunct School Fund. Given this the ongoing income stream is not expected to be large and over time funds W11 be depleted by charitable expenditure. The tru51ees are also conscious that Since the charity was established, Great Oaks College, operating al the Gresham Road site, has been set up. The reserves balanee will be regularly reviewed and assessed in the light of all felevanl factors and the level of Claims for charitable assistance have been established.
