Education First Trustees Report for the year end 31 December 2023 Trustees, Annual Report for the Year Ended 31 December 2023 The trustees of Education First (registered charity number 11660071 present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023. Building on the success of the 2022 series'upbringing Children in Diaspora: Challenges and Practical Solutions,, the charity's key achievement for 2023 was the implementation of one of its core recommendations: providing direct support to teachers in diaspora communities. This culminated in the delivery of a comprehensive, 20-hourtraining programme for teachers at community schools in Egypt, which was conducted online over five days. The training was launched in direct response to high demand and addressed urgent educational needs within the community. Operational costs for the year were minimal and were covered through partnerships and individual membership fees. Consequently, there were no recorded income, expenditure, assets, or liabilities for this period. The trustees remain focused on planning future educational and community initiatives in line with the charity's core objectives.
