During this year, we have again organised 12 monthly evening author events, a series which has become popular with local residents, and this continues to generate good publicity for the librar, encouraging users to engage with the library as a centre of cultural interest and a trusted resource. We have continued to ofer events on Saturdays, including a one man play as well as our annual Winter Fair with craft stalls and children's activities. We continue to reach out to local schools. We presented an exhibit in the library of ar by the children at a local primar school as well as several art exhibits by local artists. We have a regular stall at the local summer f�te in Ruskin Park to further publicise what the librar has to ofer and we continue to engage with the librar staf and the local council to promote the library and ensure its future. |
