Our aim is to enable North Somerset to move towards net zero by supporting environmental and climate focused community groups, by following our 5 key objectives - communicating, mentoring, signposting, facilitating and highlighting climate and environment related opportunities across the area and within the remit of our constitutional focus and key messages.
Objects: The Promotion Of The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Natural Environment And Prudent Use Of Natural Resources For The Benefit Of The Public In Portishead And Beyond By:a) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness Of Climate Change, Resource Scarcity, Peak Oil And Economic Resilience;b) Promoting Individual, Community And Organisational Commitment To A Reduction In Co2 Emissions, Energy Saving, Reducing Reliance Upon Carbon Emitting Energy Sources;c)increasing Resilience To Resource Scarcity;d)promoting Community Growing Schemes, Thus Reducing Carbon Expended In Growing, Manufacturing, And Distributing Food
