Notes to the Accounts for year ended 31 March 2021 These are the first accounts filed since the retirement of our previous treasurer, Ray Anstice. We are deeply grateful for 311 his work for the Club over the many years of his involvement and he leaves the Club in good financial health and we wish him well for the future. This was a challenging year due to the closure of the Club due to COVID-19. We are now back to providing our services to the young people of Lawrence Weston. The closure of the Club was a frustrating period for our staff. We and our staff were grateful to receive an award from the Tudor Trust to support them in training and welfare as the country began to move out of lockdown. The Tudor Trust a150 provided a further grant towards the running of the Club following Ray'5 resignation. We benefitted from the Job Retentions Scheme during the closure of the Club. We remain thankful for the continuing support and guidance provided by our partner Young Bristol, no more so than during the re-opening of the Club following the easing of restrictions. We would like to thank the various Co-operative societies that continue to support the Club and hope to continue these relationships. Thanks also go to Steven and Helen Price from Price En8ineering for their contribution towards the media room. It was good to have the room completed In the year and we look forward to it benefitting the young people of Lawrence Weston.
