We fiilfillcd OUT aim to spark curiosili, and introduce or reacquaint peDple with our Go%pL'I (good iicws) of Inith and hope. One highlight ei'cnt which launched thi% y"ear's offerings was an art exhibition in the Gardens tiallery situated in the centre of Cheltenhani over the Easter period. An opportunity through Art inspired by the Gospels to discuss the Easter Story ivith visitors, ni(In}' of whom had no intention of attending an Easler service in a church. promole deeper understanding of the Gospel story. To this end we are planning an away day with the help of a spiritual director in 2024. From January to April Pip and Jim's are hosting lectures on Christian theme5 in Shakespeare, culniinaling in a whole day of events including a liturgy based on a MidsuTnn]er Night's Dream, inspired b}, the success of our Dante's Dii'ine Comedy stud) group. Financial Review This year the main activities ivere a Literatse Day at Pip & Jim's in Lkckhampton, followed by a day of 'OrkshopS and events at the Town Hall: culminating in a Gospel concert with the EAGA choir.. Income was £12,659 (2022: £26:594). Expenditure was £18,499 (2022.. £25,729), resulting in a deficit of £5.840 (2021- sutplu5 £865). The main differences betiveen 2023 and 202? were that no further grants were received for salary. so the ren)aining balance from previous years used to pav ? months salar}, and redundanc}' for the project leader.
