Para 1.17 The objects of the SSAI are: to promote the
arts and the educaton of the public by
providing musical performances, lecture
recitals and workshops, informaton, a
forum and other facilites in respect of
unusual historical musical instruments,
including the trumpet marine ('TM'), for as
wide an audience aspossible.

Due to the untmely death of SSAI’s Artstc
Director, Clare Salaman in January 2022 the
charity has been undergoing a transional
period. The existng board of directors has
stepped down to be replaced by a new
board comprised of industry experts,
performers and Clare’s family members.
Establishing this new board of trustees has
taken some tme, as has agreeing upon a
way forward in the absence of the artstc
director. We are stll searching for at least
one board member with fnancial
experience. As a result of all this no public
actvites have takenplace.
