Much of the effort In 2025 was devoted to following a rigorous recnjitment proce55, Offers of employment were made to John and Debby Wrlght, currently the National Dlrectors of the UK and Ireland, each of whlch has been accepted, as the new Vineyard Global Leaders, this will be initially for two and a hair days a week. The Charity deslres and wlll work towards planting Kingdom of God-centred, healthy churches and culturally relevant Wineyard Churches that in turn plant other churches, where those Vineyards gmw to the polnt where they can become Natlonal Vlneyard Assoclatlons. The plantingi developlngl and releaslng of Vlneyard Churches worldwide wlll lead to changlng the culture and to belng more outwardly focused. The Vlneyard MoveTnent Is giowlng wtth a sense of unity and calling amongst the Natlonal Dirertor5 who forni the Wineyard Global Council. There is a recognltlon thatwe are entering a new and excltlng phase of development, and need to look forwards to thc future, especlally In the areas of structure and fvnding. What has sustalned us thls far wlll simply not be enough to carry us forward Into the future. We know that ¥Ye face complex and challenging issues acros5 dlfferent and dlverse natlonal cultures, as we increase in size, and the number of AVCS multiply. We take very seriously our responslblllty to steward the 'sacred trtjgt, whlth we believe God has glven to us In the Vineyard. It is for us in our generation to faithfully protect and to hand on this trust to those that follow. The appolntment of new leaders has brought into focus the need for addltlonal fundlng for the charity. To thi5 end a fundraising dve was launched wlth a lunch tor potential donors In September. Thls was success1 and Is beginning to bear frult wlth donatlons comlng In. Thls event wlll be repeated In 2026, tDgether with further communlcatlon wlth the exlstlng AVCS to ensure thelr contlnued 2% commltment to the charlty. FollowSng the National Dlrectors. meetlng In Tavlra, Portugal, In March 2a25 several key decisions were made. The By-laws of Vineyard Global were approved by the Councll and rernitted to each AVC for their national leaders and trustees to revlew and comment on. The AVCS will apptsint trustees whose role will be to Ilaise wlth Vlneyard Global on behalf of the AVC. The Councll recognlsed the challenges that lie ahead In drawlng together around 1,500 churches calling themselves 'vlneyard' bul who are not yet affiliated to an AVC. Two meetings have taken place In the year to begin the work of addre5s1ng thls challenge; flrstly to revlew plans and to agree proposals before formulatlng an actlon plan to present at the Vineyard Global Councll meetlng In March 2026.

The tvu$tees have committed to recrult new trustees to bolster the board in 2026, and to provlde more Internatlonal representatlon. Four potential ne¥v trustees have been Identlfied and have been Invited to future meetlngs as observers. The trustees met ten tSme5 durlng the year. We have a fnrmal rtsk management process to assess buslness and operatlonal rlsks and implement rlsk management strategles in order to mlnlmlse the effects of these. Thls Involves Identlfylng major stratsglc, operatlonal and flnanclal rlsks to whlch the Charlty Is exposed. priorltislng them in terms of impèct and likellhood of occurren. Systems have been establlshed to mlnlmlse such rlsks. However, further donatlons from other sources are required to maintaln the charlty, and the trustee5 are attlvely seeking out addltional donatlons, fflitigatlng the risks that the charlty faces. The settlng of pay and remuneratlon for key management personnel Is arrlved at by looking at equivalent roles In the local communlty such as the headmaster of a large comprehenslve school or within the charltable settor. The Charlty does a detalled annual budgèt for finantial control purposes, against which It reports the actual monthty flgures. In addltlon, a long-term plan is kept under review and covers a perlod of at least flve years, primarlly in descriptive terms. The Trustee5 are aware of "The Hallmarks" of a well-run charity and seek to Nn thls Charlty In attordance wlth them. The Memorandurn and Artlcles of A550ciatlon govem Vlneyard Global Trust Limited. The Tnjstees typically meet at least three tlme5 a year; with one meeting Includlng an AGM. Such trustees are appolnted in line wlth the Memorandum and Artlcles of Assodatlon. Normally they would be indlvlduals who are Voluntee ot the Lhariry and are chosen bDth ror thelr understandlng of the objects of the Charity as well as thelr professlonal expertlse.
