In support of these objects the Charlty received mntributlons from Vlneyard Churches UK & Irelan'd and donatlons from Its International partners malnly from the USA, Swltzerland, Holland, New Zealand, Canada, Chlle, Scandlnavla, South Afrlca and Kenya. In the executlon, the objects of the Charlty are exp￿Ssed In speclflc and practlcal ways descrlbed below and as such, the appllcatlon of Its resources are slmllarly dlsplayed In the flnanclal statements. The Charlty deslres and wlll work towards plantlng Klngdom of God-centred, healthy churche5 and culturally relevant Vlneyard Churche5 that In turn plant other churches, where those Vlneyards grow to the polnt where they can become Natlonal Vlneyard Assoclatlons. The plantlngi developing, and releaslng of Vlneyard Churches Sn the UK and worldwlde wlll lead to changlng the culture to thlnk and be more outwardly focused. The By-laws of Vlneyard Global were approved by the Councll and remltted to each AVC for thelr national leaders and trustees to revlew and comment on. The AVCS wlll appoint trustees whose role wlll be to Ilalse wlth Vlneyard Global on behalf of the AVC. The Councll recognlses the challenges that Iles ahead In drawlng around 1,500 churches calllng themselves 'vlneyard' but are not yet afflllated to an AVC. Two meetlngs have taken place In the year to begln the work of addresslng thls challenge, flrstly to review plans and to ag￿e proposa15 before formulatlng an actlon plan to present at the Vlneyard Global Councll meetlng In March 2025. The Vlneyard Global Council Trust is the legal charltable entlty based In the Unlted Klngdom and Is responsible for the management of Vlneyard Global Councll assets, flnances, and legal matters, to ensure alignrnent and compllance wlth charltable law and good practlce. The trustees have commltted to recrult new trustee5 to bolster the board In 2024 but desplte attempting to do so no further appointments have been made, but efforts wlll continue to be made. The trustees met seven tlmes durlng the year.

Thls Involves identifying major strateglc, operatlonal and flnanclal rlsks to whlch the Charity is exposed, prioritising them in terms of impact and Ilkellhood of occurrence. Systems have been established to mlnlmlse such rlsks. The actlon plans are revlewed at least annually, In order to Identlfy new rlsks and revlew existlng strategles. Usually when new projects are undertaken durtng the year a rlsk analysls wlll be done prlor to commencement. The maln risk that the charlty face5 is lack or short fall of donatlons comlng In, though the maln source of Income Is vla the Assoclatlon of Vlneyard Churches (AVCS) around the world, a more dlrect approach is belng taken to seek out how much they are plannlng to glve and when, wlth follow up If the promlsed donatlons have not been recelved. Further donatlons are requlred to malntaln the charlty, the trustees are fully aware of these rlsks, and wlth communication and actlvely seeklng out these additional donatlons, the rSsks that the charlty faces can be mltigated. The Trustees have carrled out a rlsk assessment as part of thelr responslbllltles. The settlng of pay and remuneratlon for key management personnel Is arrlved at by looking at equlvalent roles In the local ¢ommunlty such as the headmaster of a large comprehenslve school or wlthln the charltable sector. The Charlty does a detalled annual budget for flnancSal control purposes, agalnst whSch It reports the actual monthly flgures. In additlon, a long-term plan Is kept under review and cover5 a perlod of at least flve years, prlmadly In descrlptlve terms. The Trustees are aware of "The Hallmark5" of a well-run charlty and seek to run thls Charlty In accordance wlth them. Relatlonshlps are growing well amongst the groups and as a whole group. Wlth Natlonal Directors vlsltlng one another and making plans together. Additional funding has been recelved from Vlneyard USA totalllng £135,480 to cover the shortfall in the finances for the year, the trustees are extremely grateful for thelr generoslty to the Vlneyard Global family. John and Eleanor have offered Vlneyard Global Councll Trust to contlnue In thelr roles as Global Leader's during 2025 and are happy to contlnue In the role as long as they enjoy contlnued good health. FIDan¢es and Other Matter• The Tnjstees belleve that the Internal flnanclal controls conform to guldellnes Issued by the Charlty Cornmlsslon. The prlnclpal Income came from contrlbutlons from Vlneyard Churches UK & Ireland and small on-golng donations from AVCS (Associatlon of Vlneyard Churches) from around the world. Total Incomlng resources for the perlod Jmounted to £255,803 (2023 - £231,263). Total resources expanded for the period amounted to £257,933 (2023 - £221,453). Leavlng reserves at the perlod end of £48,799 (2023 - £50,929).

To enable the Charlty to fund the Internatlonal Co-ordinator's employment contract on a rolling monthly basls. To hold sufficlent worklng funds for the core level of Vlneyard Global activltles, for up to four months. Such core actlvltles are those that speclfically related to the admlnlstratlon of the charlty that enable the baslc functlons to continue. Reserves have remalned statlc durlng the year. However, the trustees are aware of the current fundlng shortages In the charlty. Vlneyard USA has proposed, as a sustalnable solutlon to thls shortfall to gift Vlneyard Global sufflclent funds to meet the needs of the company in 2025. Vineyard USA wlll, in addltlon, take responslbllity for the payment of a Major Gift Offlcer, whose role wlll be to raise funds for Vlneyard Global. Therefore, In Ilght of the above comments, the trustees have a reasonable expectatlon that the charlty wlll have adequate resources to contlnue in existence for a perlod of 12 months from the date of approval of the flnancial statements and therefore have prepared the financlal statements on a golng concern basis. The plans for the future Include: To continue to Implement the Dlscoverlng our way Forward. Worklng wlth the exlstlng Vlneyard Churches and Natlonal Offices. Identlfylng new and emerging leaders both for the local church and national level. Train and equip those leaders. Contlnue to travel wldely but principally to the US. Contlnue to proactively seek Vineyard-lnclined buslnessmen and women to provlde contrlbutlons to the contlnuing work. Host and organise a Natlonal Dlrectors Meeting in the Portugal in March 2025. The Memorandum and ArtScles of Assoclatlon govern Vlneyard Global Councll Trust Ltd. The Trustees typlcally meet at least three tlmes a year; wlth one meetlng Includlng an AGM. Such trustees are appolnted In Ilne wlth the Memorandum and Artlcles ofAssoclatlon. Normally they would be Indlvlduals who are volunteers of the Charity and are chosen both lor thelr understandlng of the objects of the Charlty as well as thelr professlonal expertlse.
