The plantlngi developing, and releaslng of Vlneyard Churches Sn the UK and worldwlde wlll
lead to changlng the culture to thlnk and be more outwardly focused.
We know that we face complex and challenglng Issues, across dlfferent and dlverse
natlonal cultures, as we Increase In slze and the number of AVCS have multiplled, we take
very serlously our responslblllty to steward what has been called the 'sacred tNst' whlch

TRUSTEES. REPORT (Continued)
FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024
We have a formal rlsk management process to assess buslness and operatlonal rlsks and
Implement rlsk management strategie5 In order to mlnlmlse the effects of these. Thls
Involves identifying major strateglc, operatlonal and flnanclal rlsks to whlch the Charity is
exposed, prioritising them in terms of impact and Ilkellhood of occurrence. Systems have
been established to mlnlmlse such rlsks. The actlon plans are revlewed at least annually,
In order to Identlfy new rlsks and revlew existlng strategles. Usually when new projects
are undertaken durtng the year a rlsk analysls wlll be done prlor to commencement. The
maln risk that the charlty face5 is lack or short fall of donatlons comlng In, though the
maln source of Income Is vla the Assoclatlon of Vlneyard Churches (AVCS) around the

The settlng of pay and remuneratlon for key management personnel Is arrlved at by
looking at equlvalent roles In the local ¢ommunlty such as the headmaster of a large

The Charlty does a detalled annual budget for flnancSal control purposes, agalnst whSch It

Reserve
The Trustees having revlewed the reserves policy In Ilght of the additional funding recelved
during the previous year and the 2% contrlbution5 received from the AVCS, The charity
should keep reserves to,.
To enable the Charlty to fund the Internatlonal Co-ordinator's employment contract
on a rolling monthly basls.
To hold sufficlent worklng funds for the core level of Vlneyard Global activltles, for
up to four months. Such core actlvltles are those that speclfically related to the
admlnlstratlon of the charlty that enable the baslc functlons to continue.
Reserves have remalned statlc durlng the year.
However, the trustees are aware of the current fundlng shortages In the charlty.
Vlneyard USA has proposed, as a sustalnable solutlon to thls shortfall to gift Vlneyard
Global sufflclent funds to meet the needs of the company in 2025. Vineyard USA wlll, in
addltlon, take responslbllity for the payment of a Major Gift Offlcer, whose role wlll be to
raise funds for Vlneyard Global.
Therefore, In Ilght of the above comments, the trustees have a reasonable expectatlon
that the charlty wlll have adequate resources to contlnue in existence for a perlod of 12
months from the date of approval of the flnancial statements and therefore have prepared
the financlal statements on a golng concern basis.
The plans for the future Include:

Identlfylng new and emerging leaders both for the local church and national level.
