The Memorial Hall is the centre of village activities and is used by a variety of groups including an over 50's Activity session,several exercise classes,children's parties. The hall has its own country dancing group as well as dog training and Weight Watchers meetings.
Objects: The Provision And Maintenance Of A Village Hall For The Use Of The Inhabitants Of Old Malton (the Boundaries Of Which Are Taken To Be As Defined By St Marys Ward 1 Polling District) (area Of Benefit) And Also Those Inhabitants Of Neighbouring Areas As May Use The Hall And Its Facilities From Time To Time, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability, Nationality, Race Or Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, Including Use For:(a) Meetings, Lectures, Classes And Other Education Activity(b) Other Forms Of Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupationwith The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Inhabitants.
