Page I I report on the accounts of the Charitable Incorporated Organisation for the year end8d 30 June 2025, which are set out on pages 2to 6. As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. you consider th8t the audit requirement of section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 Ithe Act) does not 8ppIy. It is my responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Direction5 given by the Charity Commissioners under section 14515llbl of the Act, whether particular matters have come to my attention. My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusu81 items or disclosures in the accourkts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undert8ken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an 8udit, 8nd consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the a¢¢ounts. In connection with my examination, no matter has come to rny 8ttention: which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements. to keep accounting records in 8¢cordance wlth section 130 of the Act: to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records. to comply with the 8ccounting requirements of the Act. have not been met. or 121 to which. in my opinion. attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be Teached. It was established by the President and others of the Harpenden Vi118ge Rotary Club (the Clubl to take over the Club's charitable activities previously run through the Harpenden Village Rotary Charitable Trust. Amongst other activities, members were involved in organising food bank donations, helping Harpenden youngsters make the most of their potential and providing facilities for residents of Harpenden. Major donations during the year included-. Hope and Homes for Children £7,800 Youth Talk £7,800 MND Association~ Herts Branch £7,800 Harpenden Plus Partnership £5,000 Empowering Kids in Kenya £2,231 In total, over£45,OOOwas raised and donated.
