Para 1.18 The trustees confirm that they have
complied with the duty in section 17 of
the Charities Act 2011 to have due
regard to public benefit guidance
published by the Charity Commission.
The trustees have recognised the 2
principles of public benefit and believe
that the JPP Foundation meets them
namely that:
1. there is an identifiable benefit or
benefits and they are clear,
related to the aims of the JPP

Foundation and are balanced against any detriment or harm. The objects of the JPP Foundation are to focus on education, welfare and healthcare of young disadvantaged people in India. 2. The benefit is to the public or to a section of the public. That the beneficiaries are appropriate to the aims and, if to a section of the public, are not unreasonably restricted and that those in poverty are the beneficiaries and are specifically included in the opportunity to benefit. The potential beneficiary group of the JPP Foundation is those disadvantaged children in Pushkar in Rajasthan, India who are in need of educational and welfare support to facilitate, encourage and enable them to regularly attend and benefit from schooling and make progress in their studies and lives.

Achievements and Performance

SORP reference

Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20
The JPP Foundation remains
steadfast in its commitment to
empowering underprivileged
children, supporting over 50
students to attend private school
alongside ongoing wraparound care
provided by the local project. The
foundation's dedication has yielded
impressive results, demonstrably
improving the academic standing
and overall well-being of the
children.
The JPP children consistently
demonstrate academic excellence,
holding leadership positions as
prefects and class leaders. Notably,
a student recently became head boy
of the local private school, marking
a remarkable accomplishment!
JPP fosters aspirations beyond
academics. A former student,
empowered by the program, is now
entering college to pursue a medical
career, setting a shining example for
others. Numerous students harbour
dreams of diverse professions,
including fashion design,
architecture, and science, fuelled by
the unwavering support of the
program.
The local project leader expresses
immense satisfaction with the
children's progress and the
nurturing environment created.
Moving forward, ambitious plans are
underway to propel the project to
even greater heights. With the
challenges of the pandemic
hopefully behind them, the future
holds exciting possibilities for
continued improvements and lasting
impact.
Despite the disruptions and
uncertainties caused by COVID-19,
the project's success shines
through. Children continued their
education and thrived in the learning
environment, consistently achieving
impressive results. They
