However we are concemed lo assess better if there are peo ple who, for whatever reason, are unable to access our support, but because we depend on refer- rals from intemiediaries, so far this has eluded us. Even so, we are pleased with the fwd SUPFXJrt we ￿￿1Ve, and our dependence on buying food remains less than many other foodbanks. Our partnership wilh Cttizens Advice- Somerset rxjntinues to deliver benefits for clients through Ihe cost of lThiing advice provided. We have also ￿￿kOm￿l Somerset village Agents who attend to provide advice during our openirvJ hours. Seeing the benefits of these arrangements, and the stability of our financkql surplus, the Trustees have started to investpJate ways lo develop our services of emergency fc(sd and signposting lo bet- ter tackle food povety at sour￿. However as the year came to an end our exceptional Manager submitted a request to retire, and in the short te￿ Y￿ neej to manage the tranSrtjC￿ to her suc- cessor.
