The promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and charitable organisations that are carrying out purposes that are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales by the provision of a translation service to enable them to meet their purposes.
The main activities undertaken for the public benefit have been to offer advice and support to charities needing language services and supporting volunteer translation projects wherever possible.
We confirm that all trustees have regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

The key achievements in this financial year have been: - Providing advice and guidance following 90 requests for language support. - Supporting 10 different charitable organisations in multiple languages with volunteer translation projects. - Publishing a new website. - Collaborating with industry associations to support languages for Ukrainian refugees and coordinating a dedicated web page for this purpose. - Publishing a free resource ‘A Quick Guide to Language Support’ for charities. - Recruiting 296 new volunteers. |

The charity’s policy on reserves has been determined by the low cost model adopted to carry out its charitable purpose. The policy is to accrue reserves to meet the costs of continuing website managing, hosting and domain names. Charity Translators relies on volunteer support within an online environment to carry out its activities.
