On 6 July 2015 the charity re-registered as a Charilable Incorporated Organisalion. Newton Aycliffe Youth & Community Centre Key Noteables 2023124 began with a new Board of Trustees who are invested in ensuring the Centre remains open and meets its charilable objeclives. The Centre welcomed back Durham Learn Iformerly Adult Leoming Skills Service I to face lo loce learning after Ihe Covid F)ondemic & lockdowns. With the help of funding from The Bollinger Trusl. the Centre has employed a part tim8 member of staff enabling longer opening hour5 ond much needed assislance to the existing member of staff. We also formed a new WOTking partnership lo delivei youth work. The Cornforlh Partnership are now delivering rounded youth work sessions on a Wednesday evening meeting the needs of l(>14 year olds and o 15+ year old session. ond are port funded by GAMP AAP and The Ballinger Chariloble Trusl utilising Ihe National Lottery Community Fund's 'Reoching Communities. The Centre Is now looking foNard lo forming new portnerships and looking to the year ahead is very positive, wilh the introduction of quartedy"Pop Up Events" where the local community can come along and sell their wares.
