It was heartening to see that donations more than doubled form the previous year, however, these are still at low levels compared to pre-covid and the Foundation is still within a period of recovery following the Pandemic. In a purposeful strategy to maintain the reserves policy and increase income for the future growth and impact of the charity, the Trustees decided not to grant income in this period and instead focus upon building funds and reserves to enable greater long term support to the communities we serve. The Trustees have large goals ahead to allocated funding towards the achievement of infrastructure projects due to take place in 2024 with a partner charity, Think Pacific Foundation (FIJI), a registered charitable trust in the Fiji Islands. This project will improve access to health and medical facilities for rural communities in Fiji. The trustees believe that by growing funds towards this project, thiswill create the greatest impact for donors funds. Trustees look forward to seeing anincreaseinthe donations andcapacity of our charity and the impact that shall be made ahead in Fiji . The Trustees are very confidentin thefutureof Think Pacific Foundation. |
