Achievements and Performance SORP reference The chief activity is the running of a sports centre with an outdoor Multi58 games area and football pitches. The centre includes a café which is used by the community for non-sports activities. The centre Is open 7 days a week from 6.1)0 a.m. to 10 .00 p.m. weekdays with shorter hours at thè weekend according to season. Financial Review Review of the charity's financial pos'rtion at the end of the period Para 1.21 A profit-sharing agreement with the management company means that they bear any losses in the first instance. In exchange the trust only receives rent andlor a share of proflt if there is actually a profit after losses from earlier periods have been recouped. In this reporting perlod (2022-231 there was a notional loss of £13,140 butthSs was off-sèt against a notional profit of £15,410 in the preceding period12021-22). In the reporting perlod 2021-22 when Covid closed the centre for long periods there was a substantial notlonal loss even taking into account Government grants. The overall position is that there may be no profit due to the trust. This situation is under revièw. The management company agreement runs until 31 Mar¢h 2024.
