| Foliowing the invasion of Ukraine by Russia in February 2022, around 40 |

| thousand Ukrainian refugees moved to I atvia, mainly women with |

| children. Our Giving for Latvia activities expanded to include this group of |
||||||||
| people | in Latvia, that is particularly financially and emotionally vulnerable. |

| talk so kids will listen and how to listen so kids will talk by Adele Faber (first in the series) were distributed for free in 2021/22/23 to |

| 75charities that work with parents and children. These charities |
|||||||
| have committed to lend the books to their members and |
|||||||
| subsequently arrange discussions to engage parents on the topic ofmodern parenting approaches. Work on the next books in the |
|||||||

| We continue to support pre/post-natal depression charity |
|||||||
| Debesmanna. corn that organizes Children's Mental Health Week |
|||||||
| in Latvia though series offree ofcharge webinars for parents with |
|||||||
| the leading specialists in Latvia. During early 2023 they hosted their 3"annual event and for the first time cooperated with |
|||||||
| schools in Latvia engaging pupils. |
|||||||
| We supported projects that assist Ukrainian refugees, both by |
|||||||
| arranging fundraising but also donations in kind (winter coats and |
|||||||
| sieeping bags). | |||||||
| We launched a multi-year project of bringing letterboard |
|||||||
| alternative communication method to Latvia, that gives back voice |
|||||||
| to non-speaking autistic individuals that have apraxia. The first |
|||||||
| practitioner, director ofa special needs school, began studies with |
|||||||
| I-ASC International Association for Spelling as Communication |
|||||||
| and completed internship in the UK. We also arranged for |
|||||||
| letterboard stencils with Latvian alphabet, that can be handed to |
|||||||
| families ofnon-speaking students, for additional communication |
|||||||
| practice within families. The first word spelled independently by a |
|||||||
| non-speaking student in Latvia was "biologija" during a plants |
|||||||
