pre/post-natal
depression
charity| ||||||||Debesmanna. corn that organizes
Children's
Mental
Health Week| ||||||||in Latvia though series offree ofcharge webinars
for parents
with| ||||||||the leading specialists
in Latvia. During early 2023 they hosted
their 3"annual
event and for the first time cooperated
with| ||||||||schools in Latvia engaging
pupils.| ||||||||We supported
projects that assist Ukrainian
refugees,
both by| ||||||||arranging
fundraising
but also donations
in kind (winter coats and| ||||||||sieeping bags).| ||||||||We launched a multi-year
project of bringing
letterboard| ||||||||alternative
communication
method to Latvia, that gives back voice| ||||||||to non-speaking
autistic individuals
that have apraxia. The first| ||||||||practitioner,
director ofa special needs school, began studies
with| ||||||||I-ASC International
Association
for Spelling as Communication| ||||||||and completed
internship
in the UK. We also arranged
for| ||||||||letterboard
stencils with Latvian alphabet,
that can be handed
to| ||||||||families ofnon-speaking
students,
