TREASURER'S REPORT RYE WURLITZER ACADEMY FOR YEAR ENDED 31sr AUGUST 2021 ReAlstered Charliv No." 1161821 Revlew of Year to 31" August 2021 This year due to the Covld 19 Pandemic. income has been severely affected, as no events have been able to 80 ahead. This resulted in a shortfall of income a8ainst expenditure. Income has been entirely from donations. and these have ensured that a teachln8 programme for students was able to continue. Income and Expendlture Income for the year totalled £9.5k compared to £17.4k the previous year. Thls represents a 54.6% decrease In Income. There was no Income from events and although donatlons remalned the same as 2019120, thls was due largely to a one4)ff donation from Hallsham Or8an Club. Expendlture for the year totalled £10.7k compared to £14.8k In 2019120. This decrease Is due malnly to lower Tultlon costs, as a result of on-llne le550ns at the start of the year and a lack of event costs for Hall Hlre, Artlst Fees and caterin& as prevlously mentioned. Summary With an Income of £9.5k and expenditure of £10.7K we have a £1.2k shortfall for the year, resultln8 In an end of year Bank Balance of £2.107.
