Section D
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Achievements and performance
-
Following the Pandemic we reopened Ski Club on 23[rd] June 2021. We set up a new online booking system and this proved to be a great success as it ensured our skiers arrived at allocated tines, supported by the relevant volunteer instructor.
-
This year saw us take our very Young Skiers on a trip to France, the first in 2 years since the Pandemic. This proved a great success and we are hoping to repeat in 2023.
-
SSW membership continues to be covered for our volunteers instructors
-
Grant and donations have allowed the upskilling of a number of volunteers in addition to the purchase of adaptive ski equipment
-
Combination of the above has enabled the increase of members and the numbers of skiers that can be supervised at any one time
-
With the Pandemic behind us we are looking forward to a very successful and enjoyable 2023 with our Skiers
