Hudswell Community Charity fulfils its objectives through, amongst other things: ~ the provision of grants to young people in higher education ~ the provision of housing for those who are in conditions of need ~ the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities that will be of economic and social benefit to the residents of Hudswell
Objects: 3.1 The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty And The Relief Of Sickness In Hudswell And Its Surrounding Areas3.1.1 The Provision Of Grants; 3.1.2 The Provision Of Items And Services; And/or 3.1.3 The Provision Of Loans; To Individuals In Need As Determined By The Trustees And/or Charities Or Other Community Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty;3.2 The Promotion For The Benefit Of The Public Of Urban Or Rural Regeneration In Areas Of Social And Economic Deprivation (and In Particular In The Village Of Hudswell And Surrounding Areas) By All Or Any Of The Following Means: 3.2.1 The Relief Of Financial Hardship; 3.2.2 The Provision Of Housing For Those Who Are In Conditions Of Need [and The Improvement Of Housing In Charitable Ownership] Provided That Such Power Shall Not Extend To Relieving Any Local Authorities Or Other Bodies Of A Statutory Duty To Provide Or Improve Housing; 3.2.3 The Maintenance, Improvement Or Provision Of Public Amenities; And/or 3.2.4 Such Other Means As May From Time To Time Be Determined Subject To The Prior Written Consent Of The Charity Commission Of England And Wales.3.3 To Advance The Christian Religion By Making Payments To A Minister Officiating In The Church Of Hudswell As Now Combined Within The Parish Of Richmond
