In planning our undertakings for this year. we keep in mind the Charity Commission's guidelines on public benefits at our Trustees, meetings. The main activities are as follows: To support the Charity's objectives in helping Veterans welfare when leaving the Armed Forced and at subsequent times, referrausignage for Housing and other Matters including Health & Welfare, home visits, socialising in a safe, peer to peer environment. Helping Disabled Veterans with Gardening. We are fortunate to h8ve a dedicated Veteran's Room at a Sports & Social Club. The refurbishment of the room continued over the 2024-25 period, re-organising donated Military Memorabilia from all three services as well as adding Remembrance & Knitted Poppy Displays. Without this valuable contribution of time, energy and expertise we would have not been able to achieve so much. We are in particular gratefulfor the continued support of Volunteers with the refurbishment project of our regular meeting venue and the manning of Exhibition stands at events. Our Volunteer Secretary, with Business M8nagement. Financial and Administration experience has agreed to continue to supportthe Charityfor anotheryear until a suitable replacement is found. Achlevements and performance Summary ofthe main achievements Otthe charity during the year Our two monthly social events at our own Veterans, Room are continuing to be popular and are firm nd events in the calendartaking place on 2 Friday and 3" Monday of each month. We have been able to make our Veterans room available to other regimental Associations who are struggling to find meeting pl8ces of their own. This has brought the Sheffield City Region's Veterans Community closertogether. Our Free Garden Service for Veterans has proofed popular, with referrals being received by other agencieslcontacts. We have experienced a need for increased pastoral care. and have provided support to Veterans with visits. telephone support, as well as providing transport to medical appointments as well as transport to our events to combat loneliness. We have accesstofreewheelchair loans, which enabled us to support a number of Veterans this year. We have been working more closely with the Sheffield Communtty Covenant Partnership B08rd, hosted by the Sheffield City Council, with a number of public representatives such as the NHS 8nd other Ch8rities providing care and support to Veterans. The Charity has been exhibiting ata numberof public eventslFairs in Sheffield, r8ising awareness of the Charity's work. New marketing material have been commissioned to support this awareness r8ising

campaign. The participation 8t those events has resulted in a consRderable uptake of new Veterans engaging with the Charty and also resuLted in new members. We held 8 successful VE80 and HMS Sheffield/Falkland event in May. in Novemberwe org8nised ourAnnual Remembrance event, and in December, we used our Veter8ns' room for the first time to organise a Christmas gathering, which was open to all Veter8ns and appreciation was noted by all. Our plans to introduce a financi81 coding system for Income and Expenditure has been successful. which allows closer financiaL monitoring as well 88 reporting to Trustees and Members at regular intervals. We have introduced more frequent Communication by dedicated regular newsletters as well as communicating via our Social Media Facebook Group. Flnancial Review Brief statement of the charity's policy on reserve Cash at Bank 31.3.2025 was £10.372.93 which puts the charity in a fairly stable financial position for the year ahead.
