Activities

The Foundation will mainly work in the north area of Stoke-on-Trent in districts surrounding the football stadium. We work with education establishments and organisations who have members/clients affected by deprivation and disaffection and use the power of sport to make positive changes in peoples' lives.

Objectsthe Charity's Objects (objects) Are Restricted To The Following Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Public Generally, Both In The United Kingdom And Overseas, And Most Especially The Inhabitants Of Stoke-On-Trent With Particular Focus On The Area Around Burslem And The St6 Postcode Area:3.1 To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Providing Facilities For The Playing Of Association Football And Other Sports Capable Of Improving Health (facilities In This Article 3 Means Land, Buildings, Equipment And Organising Sporting Activities);3.2 To Provide (or Assist In The Provision Of) Facilities For Sport, Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Such Persons Who Have Need For Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life;3.3 To Provide (or Assist In The Provision Of) Sporting, Recreational, Leisure Or Educational Activities Or Opportunities For Children And Young People, Particularly Socially And Economically Deprived Children And Young People, So As To Develop Their Physical, Mental And Spiritual Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society;3.4 To Advance The Education (including Academic And Physical Education) Of Children, Young People And Adults; And3.5 For The General Purposes Of Such Charities Or For Such Other Charitable Purposes Under The Laws Of England And Wales In Each Case As The Trustees May From Time To Time Decide.
