Section D Achievements and performance Results for 2023 Summary ofthe main achiovements of the charlty during the year Partner and Community Links Street Pastors enjoy very good links and work clos8ty with partner organisations. These include the Northamptonshire Police, Northampton Town Centre Task Group, Pub Watch, Single homeless forum, the Guardians (Safer Nights Out Van) and venue secunty staff. Street Pastors are well regarded and very much appreciated by these partners and everyone who works wtthin the Night Time Economy {NTE) The Trustees have successfully trained and commissioned tsvo new Street Pastors. Patrols corrtinue regularly to patrol the streets of Northampton During this year Northampton Street Pastors celebrated 15 years of service to Northampton. They had a service of thanks for these years that was attended by dignitaries from the community links. Volunteers Ail patrols are carried out on a voluntary basis and each team has a senior Street Pastor. Northampton Street Pastors have 24 active volunteers. Collectively they patrolled on the streets particularly in the night ts'me economy for 720 hours Current volunteers undertook trainin in suicide awareness Water side TAR Marth 2012

Section D Achievements and performance safety and rescue and an update on knite crime. Interventions Street Pastors continue to have interventions with everyone In the night time economy in particular those who have been clubbing. Street Pastors dealt WFth over 130 Vulnerab￿ famales and 60 vulnerable males. They removed 18,069 glass bottles from the streets and swept UP Over 80 lots of glass. This protects the vulnerable on the street and helps prevent the bottles being used as a weapon. They intervened in 2 cases with people wishing to commtt suicide, preventing real tragedtes. Recruilment Two new Street Pastors were recruited, trained and commissioned. Recruiting continues around Northampton to help maintain the level of volunteers working within Northarnpton Street Pastors. Staffing Teresa Brown stepped down after several years supporting Northampton Street Pastors. She was replaced by Keith Holland-Delamere as coordinator and Louis Wright as Administrator. They a￿ both supported by Sarah Williams. one of the Trustees Students Relations continue with the Universty of Northampton and as other years a team of Street Pastors was invrted in December 2023 to patrol on a special Wednesday night studerrt event. The appreciation for this was expressed by students and staff.
