Summary ofthe main
achievements
ofthe charity
during the year
We performed
at4Concert engagements
during the period these
being the Apex Theatre
in Bury StEdmonds,
Cranlsigh
Rotary Club,
LWRC Charity Event and Fund-Raising
Carol Service at Lambeth Palace
All ofthese activities promoted
our objectives in developing
and
promoting
public interest
in Male Choral Music especially that in
the Welsh Tradition and in the process raised funds forthe many
well deserving
Charities
which requested
our services.
In addition, we performed
ofat two Funerals and one memorial
service at the request ofWelsh Families to provide Welsh Choral
Music at these most important
ceremonies
and again
in the
process promoting
the Welsh Choral Tradition.
We had planned a postponed
concert tour ofCadizlJerez
in 2021 but this
has again had to be deferred
until October 2022 now that impact ofCovid
has lessened.
Again our rehearsal
schedule was reduced and mod%ed due to the
impact ofCovid but we gradually
got back toa more normal
pattern ofthe
monthly
rehearsals at the Ciapham Chapel
in the latter part ofthe year
supplemented
by
hybrid zoom" transmissions
to members
who could not
attend
in person. in this way we were able to preserve and sustain our
choral skills and repertoire.
As gesture due tothe lower activity we suspended
our membership
annual
subscription
for2021 but it will resume
in 2022
