These events continiie to prove popular with oui. meirjbers and tlieir famil les and leave tl)e liall with staiiding Toom oiily. We contÉnued to ari'aiige seasonal day trips throughoiit tlie year witl) tlie objective of enriching tlie lives of our iiiembers, especially for tl)ose who iio longer have family inembeTS to siippoit tliem. Reaching out in our community For tlie 2 yeai. runnino we entered the Aslitead Village Day, a well-attended local event. We liad several pitclies selling lioiiie growii plants and a fun tombola stal l. Bottles and plaiits were doiiated by oiir iiieiiibei's and plants were also orown in oiir day service gardeniiig club. The day was a re- souiidiiig success in not only raising awareiiess of our cliarity iii our local community but also raised more tl)an £1,200. Plans for the future Mid Surrey Mencap has been working towards tlie goal of enlargiiig our premises to provide improved facil ities.
