To further or benefit the residents of Willand and the surrounding neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said Summary of the objects of the residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations charity set out in its in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in governing document the interests of healthy living and social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the health and conditions of life for the residents. We completed a Lease with Willand Preschool and have now refurbished the downstairs of the building. The year was blighted be Covid Restrictions, but we were fortunate to be the beneficiaries of the Co-op Community Grant which enabled us to complete the downstairs. We supported the Community Help line with volunteers manning the phone line and arranging help to anyone needing to isolate. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Future Plans

The next focus is to complete the refurbishment of the upstairs and encourage the community to support each other in voluntary roles. There will be regular Tea & Chats with book swap and craft activities to try and bring those who have struggled with their health and well being the support they need.
