Structure. goveman¢e and management Re<rultment and appointment of Managln8 Tru5tee5 Management Trustees are appointed by existing members of the Management Team in accordance with the Church Constitution. Their appolntment is approved by Church Members at a properly convened members meeting. Trustee Induction and tralnlng Trustee induction takes place on appointment. The Trustees keep up to date wlth matter5 of Charlty Law, the duties of trustees and community organisations. Organlsatlonal structur• The Trustees look after the day to day management of the charity and the work of Oa515 Community Church IRetfordl which currently meets at the WestHIII Community Centre In Ordsall for its main meetin85. The Church meets In other various locations for dlfferent events and activities as they currently do not have their own premises, Oasls Community Church (Retfordl operates wlth the following structure: Pastor, Trustees, Mlnlstry Team and Treasurer. The Pa&tor is the Chairman of the Trustees, who are responsible for overseein8 financlal, legal matters, child protectlon, protection of vulnerable adults, insurance and other leadership matters. The Ministry Team work tO8ether with the Trustees to oversee the various ministries and activities of the Church Fellowship and the pastoral and social care needs of individual members. Staff Pastor Stève Williams is self employed on a part tlme basis a? Pastor and oversees the work of both Oasis Churches and also mana8es the Oasis Community Centre. Steve ha5 been workin8 consistently with the Mana8ement team to try and maintain the church and charity and look towards future plans. Volunteers We are blessed with great members and workers who are all volunteers and 22 work hard for the benefit of the charity. its members and the community. Our volunteers serve well not only the church famlly and Oasls community but the wider community wherever there are people with needs. Objectives and actlvltles The primary objectlve of the charlty is the advancement of the Christian Faith by the proclamation and furtherance of the Gospel. Many of the activities are evangelical, but other activities are community care based activities, educational, soclal, health, wellbein8 and practical in focus, benefittiiig the local community of Ordsall and Retford and the surrounding villages in the wider 8assetlaw community. OPERATION OASIS We have continued working wlth Jur sister charlty OASIS in Wol ksop on OPERATIO14 OASIS (Food BGX project) and OASIS BEFRIEND Iono to one Befriending project) and b.ave delivered these projects to penple across the Retford and Bassetlaw area. We have hao to raise significant fknnding between the two chaiStles and have given out over ' 5,000 food and essentials parcels In the area between us over the last 5 year$.
