ACHIKVEMENT ATr4D PERFORMANCE The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Mu%ic {ARRSM} and The Commonwealth Resounds launched the Play On fund in January 2023 to support music making initiativcs worldwide. Administered by The Commonwealth Resound, Play On has a]ready begun to nMkB 71 5ignifLGant impact by providing fjnancial support to a diverse rallge of organisation8 Outside of the UK. In 2023, the Play On fund has generously 8upported ten inspiring groups that are making a positive diffErencc in their communities through music. In collaboration with UK con8ervatories and specialist m￿lC schoo]4 w¢ took sev¢ral musicians to Antigua and Barbuda in July 2023 to share our musical experi￿C$ ay)d support the nurturillg of young musical tslent on these islands. We launehed thc Commonwealth Music Relay project, a musical challenge for all Commonwealth countries. Later tllls year in Octobcr 2024, & small group of mUSSGians Thiu b¢ travelling to Samoa for CHOGM 2024 to witness the fu￿1 perf0m￿nCe of the Com￿OnWe81th Music Relay. Agaiu we have organisEd musicians for various events ￿llded by the Commonwealth SecretariaL and sinGc the year end we also yupported the Royal Commonwealth Society and Westminst¢r Abbey by providing musicians for Con)monwealth Day 2024. We helped them to prepare their rnusical programmes and volulltarily a8sist¢d them with all logi5tic$ for the event.
