Jacqueline Joseph) to advance the Chrislian Faith as part of the International and UK Church of the Na72rene, in promoling the whole mission of the Church in Handsworth, Birniingham. Ob"ectives and Activilies The Trustees have the primary objective of enabling as niany people as possible to have access to the teaching and practice of the Christian Faith and to be slrengthened in their faith with acts of worship. prayer. fellowship and study of the scriptures. The Trustees are commilled to continue to adjust and improve the service& activities and facilities to allow everyone to fellowship ts)gether and be built up in their Christian Faith. The benefit of the local community is always a considerntion for the Tn￿e¢s. tK)th through church ministry and making the church building available to local agencies who are seeking to benefit the local community such as the NHS and allowing other churches to rent the building for theii meelings. We seek to help people find faith and live it out in the community through: Worship, Prayer and Bible Swdy. Pastoral care of the church community and those of the wider community who come to our church week by week. Mi&sionary and ￿treach worL globally and locally. Achievements and Perforniance orship and Prajrr During this period the nornial worship and other services have been taking place together with sFcial monthly meetings with visiting sp￿erS and singers. Pa%loral Care Regular meelings for prayer and Bible Study have been held in the church and online in midweek to supp)rt everyone and encourage their faith. Financial Review Total receipts ts) unrestricted funds were £38.603. £24.712 of this was from Tithes and Offerings. £?.779 w&s received for restricted fimds as detailed in the financial statements. £46,223 was spent to provide the Christian ministry from Birniingham Zion Church of the Na72rene including the contribution of £1.450 to the Nazarene British Isles Southern Dislrici which helps support the wider church organlzation in the UK. The net result for this peri(xl was an excess of payments over receipts of £4,842. Unrestricted fund balance carried forward on Septrmber 30 was £3 ?02 and £859 in restricted funds.
