In the midst of a pandemic, Quba Trust worked diligently with local groups and organisations in the UK to not only provide immediate aid to those suffering the most due to the pandemic such as people from BAME community but also kept working on other important projects to support and rehabilitate the local communities. These projects included a domestic abuse support project to ensure the safety and recovery of domestic abuse victims during a difficult time as well as employment support and training project to make the communities self-sufficient again after suffering from financial downsides of the pandemic. In addition, Quba Trust conducted interfaith projects to reduce the risk of religious crimes locally that were increasing exponentially due to mentally challenging times during the lockdown .

SAFE WATER
Every day, over 200 million hours are exhausted in search of water in impoverished communities.
Women and children often bear the brunt of finding water which is often collected from polluted water sources. In 2021, Quba Trust in partnership with our generous donors installed over 500 water facilities including water hand pumps and water wells, which benefited
over 3,500 beneficiaries located primarily in poor and impoverished communities.
HEALTH CLINIC
Lack of access to basic healthcare for every individual is one of the most important issues, in a country like Yemen. Lack of basic healthcare is affecting the quality of life in a variety of ways, resulting in a low and unhealthy workforce and sabotaging the economy of the country.
Quba Trust is supporting poor men,
women and the elderly to pay for their diagnosis, surgeries and medicines so that the poor population is able to receive the continuous healthcare needed to live a healthy life.

UGANDA
Families in Uganda are often large. With the lack of finances and resources, larger families are highly likely to fall below the poverty line. Poor health also reduces a family's work productivity, causing poverty to be passed down through generations.
The Quba Trust team decided to help the less fortune in Uganda as part of an appeal. We were able to distribute food and water aid across Uganda and, in doing so, provided over
5,000 meals to widows, orphans, disabled and those in need within Uganda.
WHEEL CHAIRS
Quba Trust donates wheelchairs, tricycles, crutches and other support tools to disabled individuals. Along with providing health, education & career support, we also organise different recreational activities to provide fun and fellowship to disabled persons.

MASJID
Quba Trust sought the opportunity of founding the mosque for the Muslim communities of UK and overseas like Pakistan. The trustees agreed that the project would need suitable support from the community before it could be ventured by Quba Trust. After holding a number of projects with the community and ascertaining the need and support required for such a project, the Masjid project was constructed, that was completed at the end of 2021.

I report on the accounts for the period made up to 24[th ] January 2022 set out below.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity’s trustees responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for the period (under Section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act)) and that an independent examination is required.
Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to audit and is eligible for independent examination, it is my responsibility to:
-
Examine the accounts
-
Follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under Section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act); and
-
To state weather particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of the independent examiner’s report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examiners statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
- (1) Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the requirements have not been met;
or
- (2) To which. In my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
