Chair’s Report Activities and achievements:
Once again we can report that our income has been upheld over the last twelve months, with very little expenditure being necessary, beyond the regular agency fees. Activities at Northolme Community Centre have restarted, although the Christmas Event was taken to the three participating schools, instead of all the children going to the centre.
Our swimming protégé requested help with purchasing some keep fit equipment and is still working hard to stay competitive. We have helped a local Walking Club set up, and hopefully people from Belmont will benefit from joining some of their walks. We are still supporting the CPS who work hard to maintain the Haywood Country Park, and we have made a small number of further grants.
We are always seeking ways to publicise our grant availabilities.
Trustees:
We have had no change in our Trustees this year.
Names of Trustees: Frances White Chair, appointed by (at the end of the financial year the will of Beryl Brown 2020/2021) Philip Edwards Appointed by the will of Beryl Brown Raymond Rose Treasurer & Secretary, Nominated Trustee Adrian Bridges Nominated Trustee Ronald Morgan Nominated Trustee
Financial Policies:
We review any applications for funding every three months, and are then able to make quick decisions on their suitability. Our annual income for distribution is now in the region of £12,000 less expenses, we therefore restrict donations to a maximum, which may vary, according to the numbers of requests received in any one period.
