ACHIEVEMEKfs AND PERFORMANCE With the objects in mind the Trustees during the course of the period eovered by this report made 41 grants totalling f315,344 {2025: 48 grants totalliThg £3535(M)) to a variety of registered tharities. These charities benefitted by way of increased financial resour￿ to meet their charitable objects. The 8rants benefitted a number of public causes, as detsiled in note 7. A wide variety of causes were supp)rted. the most Si￿1f1¢￿￿t wa5 in the areas of advancern￿t of health or the saving of lives dvancement of education advancement of environmentsl protection or improvement advancement of the arts. culture. heritage or science The Trustees look forward to being able to continue their charitable work in the comins years in accordance with the Grant Makn8 Policy. whith reflects the objectives of the Charity. FINANCIAL REVIEW The Charitys principal Sour￿ of income is fvom its investments which amounted to £422.418 (2025- £404,232). The Trustees do not envisage any material change to the operation of the Charity in the long-tern). The investments will continue to be managed on a similar basis to now. At the Balance Sheet date, the free reserves of the charity amounted to £95,154. INVESTMENT POLICY The Trustees have asreed an investment policy for the Charitys investment portfolio and have instructed the investment rnanagers thai the portfolio is to be invested to produce a suitable mixture of income, in order that the level of srants may be maintained and capital growth to secure the future of the Charity in the comin8 years. This policy is monitored by resular investment reports and meetings with the investtnent manager& To meet these objectives, the Charitys investsnents are managed a(mss a range of asset c]asses to produce an appropriate balance behyeen risk and return.
