the period ended 31 March 2(r26 which are also prepared to meet the requirements for a Directorfs
Report and Accounts for Companies Act purpo￿.

statements comply with the Charities Art2011. as arn￿de¢ the Companies Act2(XNS and the reviewed
Statement of RecommeTtded Practice- Accounting and Re￿ting by Charities (SORP 20151.
STRUCTURE. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENr
The Trustee5 who held offAce throughout the year are shown on pa8e l.
New Trustees, when required. are selected by the serving Trustees and are appointed by a Resolution
of exislin8 Trustees and confirmed by the Member at an annual general meetin& in accordance with
the Articles of Ass(xxation. New Trustees are informed of the history of the Charity and acquainted
with the activities of the Charity.
No Trustee receives a fee for the service they provide to the charity. all time spent is donated free of
charge.
RFT Management servi￿ Limited provide5 the charity with corporateltharity administration and
financial reportins services. The Tn￿tee5 receive re8ulaT reports from RFT Management Services
Limited.
The Trustees meet a minimum of two times a year.
OBJEcfs AND AcnvrrIES
The Charitys objects are to promote and support such charitable purpose or purposes and such
charitable or8anisation OT OT￿nISatiOns, being Purpos￿ and orsanisations which are exclusively
charitable according to the law of England and Wales. as the Trustees shall from time to time at their
discretion d&ide.
The Charitys Obl￿1ve5 are wide in scope and allow the Trustees to modify their grant-making activity
to consider varyin8 charitable demands over time. This means that funding can be applied where the
TTUStees consider that it is most needed.
In furtherance of the obiertives, the Trustees continue to nuke grants to charitable organisations both
on a one-off and recurring basis.
TheTrustees aim to continue to generate suffiaent irwme toallow the Charity to meet its grant-makins
objective. This will be achieved by fr￿￿]ng on the l(Trng-term sustainabi]ity of the inve5ttnents and
maintaining the capital value to 5UPPOrt thi5 income requiremenL
The Trustees monitor the perforniance of the investments asainst their income requirement and capital
8rowth objertive5 in supportin8 income. Perfonnance is dISa￿Sed regularly with the investment
manager asainst suitable industry benchmarks.

GRANT MAKING POLICY
The TEu5tees support a varietyofcharitsblepurposes by providins financial supp)rt to other registered
charities.
TNhiIst the Trustees are able to advance fimds out ofthe expa)dable endowment fund. the intention for
the foreseeable future is to pay expeTW and grants solely out of income.
The Trustees rnet twice during the financial year Lry)vered by this reF4)rL An order to consider the
applications for assistance that had received.
The Trustees require all beneficiaries to acknowledge grants made and where possible to provide an
update as tohow fuThd5 have been applied by them in meetin8 their own charitable objectives and hence
that the funds have been put to good use.
The Trustee5 have considered the Charity Commission's guidanee on public benefit including the
guidance'public benefit: running a charAW when formulating the grant makins policy. The Trnstees
consider how srants can be made to ensure maximum benefits flows throu8h to the intended ultimate
beneficiaries.
ACHIEVEMEKfs AND PERFORMANCE
With the objects in mind the Trustees during the course of the period eovered by this report made 41
grants totalling f315,344 {2025: 48 grants totalliThg £3535(M)) to a variety of registered tharities. These
charities benefitted by way of increased financial resour￿ to meet their charitable objects. The 8rants
benefitted a number of public causes, as detsiled in note 7.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
The Charitys principal Sour￿ of income is fvom its investments which amounted to £422.418 (2025-
£404,232).
The Trustees do not envisage any material change to the operation of the Charity in the long-tern). The
investments will continue to be managed on a similar basis to now. Notwithstanding this, the Trustees
remain flexible in tern￿ of the type of organisations supported so as to meet the dernands of the day.

RESERVES POLICY
It is the Trustees. intention to 5Ustsin the unrestricted funds at a level which will provide suffici￿t
investment income to cover the dwitys management and administration c05ts and to be able to
respond to any emersency applications that may arise from time to time as well as to continue making
grants. At the Balance Sheet date, the free reserves of the charity amounted to £95,154.
INVESTMENT POLICY
The Trustees have asreed an investment policy for the Charitys investment portfolio and have
instructed the investment rnanagers thai the portfolio is to be invested to produce a suitable mixture of
income, in order that the level of srants may be maintained and capital growth to secure the future of
the Charity in the comin8 years. This policy is monitored by resular investment reports and meetings
with the investtnent manager&
To meet these objectives, the Charitys investsnents are managed a(mss a range of asset c]asses to
produce an appropriate balance behyeen risk and return.
The Trustees have decided that it would be inapproprfftate to impose any sptrific ethical investment
constraints upon the investment manager over and above thosealready contained within the manager5.

IUSK MANAGEMENT
The Trustees have considered the rlsks to whith the Charity is exposed. The principal risk faced by the
Charlty is an investment risk. This risk could be the reduction in the capital value of the investments
and the income derived from the investments, required by the Trustees in meeting their charitable
objectives. This risk hhs been addressed by the appointment of professional advisors to monitor
investment perfornwice and to decide on acquisitions and diskM)sals.
KEY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL
The Trustees are c¢)nsidered to be the Key Management Personnel of the Charity. the Trustees are not
remunerated tor their services and there are no paid staff employed by the Trust. Day to day
manasement is carried out under an asreement with RFf hrfanagement Services Limited.

We have audited the financial statements of The Wyfold Charitable Trust for the year ended 31 Marth
2026 which comprise the Statement ofFinanoal Acttvities. the Balancesheet and the related note5. The
financial reporting framework that has been applied in their preparation is applicable law and United
Kingdom Accounting Standards. including Financial Reportin8 Standard 102 The Financial Reporting
Standard Applicable tn the UK and Republic of Ireknd (United Kin8dom Generally Accepted

In our opinion the finanoal statements:

accounts in accordance with the Firti￿cial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Jreland (The FRS 102 Charities SORP). the Companies Act 2(K16 and Charities Act
2011. The accounts are prepared in sterlin& which is the fimctional Lvrrency of the Charity.

Unrestricted Funds comprlse those fund5 which the Trustees are free to use in accordance with

The Expendable Endowment Fund rePre￿ts those assets which are held for the longer terni
for the Charity. Income arising on the Expendable Endowment Fund can be used in the
Unrestricted Income Fund. A5 the Expendable EndohThent Fund can be used in accordance

Liabilities are recognised as swn as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the

classified under headings that a8sre8ate all casts related to the cate80ry. The followins

The costs of raisin8 funds consist of investtnent management and related costs.
CharitableActivities
Costs of d￿ritable activities indude grants made and support and sovernance costs. Grants
payable are recognised when they a￿ approved by the Trustee5 and the recipient of the srant
ha5 been infornied of the atnount to be paid.
Support Gtsvernan￿ Costs
Support and governan￿ costs comprise all costs involving the public accountability of the
eharity and its compliance with regulation and 8(XKI practice. These costs include expenses
related to ststutory audit fee& professional and l%al fees and support costs.

The Tn]stee5 believe that induding cash held wtth investEnent manasers within Fixed Asget
Investments is a more ac￿rate portrayal of how this cash is u*d. This cash is shown within
Fixed A$5et Investments.
InVestM￿ts are stated at market value at the balance sheet date. The SOFA indudes the net
gains and losses on revaluation and disposals throughwt the year

assets and liabilities are offset, with the net amounts presented in the financial statements,
when there is a legally enforceable right to set off the reco8nised amounts and there is an
Int￿tion to settle on a net basis or to realise the asset and settle the liability simultaneously.
I INFORMATION REGARDING TRUSTEES AND EMPLOYEES
In the year ended 31 Marth 2￿26, none of the Tn￿teeS receRved any remuneration or had expenses
reimbursed by the Charity {2025- none).
The Trustees are considered to comprise the key rnanasement.
3. LIABILfTY OF MEMBERS
The Wyfold Charitable Trust Is a charitable company limited by guarantee.
Each member of the Charity undertakes to contrÈbute such an amount as may be required {not
exceeding £10) to the Charitys asset5 rf it should be wound up whilst he/she is a member.
