Activities

Cricket Builds Hope supports the development of cricket in Rwanda through funding cricket infrastructure, facilities, equipment and some activities. The charity's aim is that more people in Rwanda can play cricket, from grassroots to elite level, and experience the benefits of participation in the sport. CBH works in partnership with local organisations to achieve this goal.

Objects: (1) To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Ofrwanda By The Provision Of Facilities For Playing Cricket(2) In Furtherance Of The Above Object But Not Otherwise To Construct And Manage, On A Not-Forprofitbasis, The First Dedicated Cricket Facility In Kigali, Rwanda(3) To Include Within The Cricket Facility And Operate And/or Manage (Within And/or Outsidethe Facility) Such Other Activities And Facilities As The Charity Trustees May Decide Fromtime To Time So That The Playing And/or Coaching Of Cricket Will Form Part Of Acoordinated Approach To Challenges Facing Rwandans Relating In Particular Toreconciliation, Health, Education, Gender Equality, And The Protection Of Children Andvulnerable Adults;(4) To Benefit Rwandans Without Distinction Of Gender, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Ofpolitical, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together With The Community Andthe Local Authorities, Ngos, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Coordinated Effortto Overcome The Said Challenges.
