Working towards preservation and restoration of the Uttoxeter Canal, having restored theCaldon Canal which the Trust monitors and works to improve. Activities include: volunteerwork parties to carry out restoration, conservation and improvement; monitoring and liaisonabout the state of the canals, planning applications etc; fund raising; awareness raising events,exhibitions, talks and PR.
Objects: To Restore, Preserve, Maintain In Good Order And Improve The Existing Caldon Canal - And All Former Arms Of The Canal Including The Branch Known As The Uttoxeter Canal - For The Use And Benefit Of The Public.
