**Objects:** TO RESTORE, PRESERVE, MAINTAIN IN GOOD ORDER AND IMPROVE THE EXISTING CALDON CANAL - AND ALL FORMER ARMS OF THE CANAL INCLUDING THE BRANCH KNOWN AS THE UTTOXETER CANAL - FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

**Activities:** Working towards preservation and restoration of the Uttoxeter Canal, having restored theCaldon Canal which the Trust monitors and works to improve. Activities include: volunteerwork parties to carry out restoration, conservation and improvement; monitoring and liaisonabout the state of the canals, planning applications etc; fund raising; awareness raising events,exhibitions, talks and PR.
