Strelley Communty Club works to find ways of supporting and developing people within the I¢1 area, thereby enhancing the opportunities for karning and employment. The club is always keen to look IOT ways ot enhancing s(Kial devel(ymenl local and thereby contribuiing to the prosperity of the cx)mmunity. Identitying needs and gaps in seNices and ensuring thai some of these are met by the work at the dth. Once again, the club has provided. as much as tM)ssible given the difficult conditions in the year, swrt led activities for people ol all ages. with an emphasis on the promotion of boxing skills and fitness. By default, raising aspirations, confiden. and selt-awareness. Section D Achievements and performance Strelley Community Club has created opFM)rtunilies for over 100 young people through the year to be involved in a wide range of sporting. educaiional and diversionary activities. In particular. whenever possible under the Covid guhlelines, Strelley Club mns a thriving boxing club for young pewte. Which Fncludes general sessions for all ages. sessions for girls and women, older people, and young FWI. The dub also provides a mentoring service for young people and works with Young offender teams (YOT) to promde tsrgeted sessions for ng people at risk of further offending. Once again, the club has provided over 200 hours of sport led activity for people of all ages. with an emphags on the promotion of t)oxing skills and fitness.
