The organisation's objecti￿S are to benefit the people who work, live and
are educated in Nottingham. In partiojlar. the tharitys objective is lo
advan￿ the well-being of young peop￿ in ihe Strelley area. These
objectives remain the same as in prevrous years.

Strelley Communty Club works to find ways of supporting and
developing people within the I¢￿1 area, thereby enhancing the
opportunities for karning and employment. The club is always keen to
look IOT ways ot enhancing s(Kial devel(ymenl local￿ and thereby
contribuiing to the prosperity of the cx)mmunity. Identitying needs and
gaps in seNices and ensuring thai some of these are met by the work at
the dth.
Once again, the club has provided. as much as tM)ssible given the difficult
conditions in the year, swrt led activities for people ol all ages. with an
emphasis on the promotion of boxing skills and fitness. By default, raising
aspirations, confiden￿. and selt-awareness.

between the ages of 14 and 24. The* programmes have been extremely

The Grub constantly strives to provide new activities for young p8ople,
delivering divers￿nary aCtiv[￿eS and proiects with the objective of
strenglhening the c¢)mmunity spirit of the stre1￿Y area. The club bridges
the gap belween age groups in the atea. èncouraging greater cohèsion
within the locality.

Achievements and performance
Strelley Community Club has created opFM)rtunilies for over 100 young
people through the year to be involved in a wide range of sporting.
educaiional and diversionary activities. In particular. whenever possible
under the Covid guhlelines, Strelley Club mns a thriving boxing club for
young pewte. Which Fncludes general sessions for all ages. sessions for
girls and women, older people, and young FWI￿. The dub also provides
a mentoring service for young people and works with Young offender
teams (YOT) to promde tsrgeted sessions for ￿ng people at risk of
further offending.

ThroughoLrt this year, st￿lleY dub has strengthened relatk)ns with
statutory bc￿leS y￿thin Ihe area. which indude, but are not limited to
YOT, children and faMil￿s. Nottingham City Homes, Nottingham City
Council. Street Games. and Groundwoiks. This has resulted in Strelley
Community Club being excellently pla(*d to address some of the gaps
within the lotsl area thr(Yjgh￿I the next financial year.
Once again, the club has provided over 200 hours of sport led activity for
people of all ages. with an emphags on the promotion of t)oxing skills
and fitness.
The club runs hvo edutstion programmes for young people between the
ages of 14 and 24. These programmes have been extremely well-
recervgJ, engaging up to 100 young people through the year.
Strelley Communty Club has developed targeted youth sessions as well
as a mentoring programme for ywng people.
