Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Providing 38 weeks of 7 hour sessions ot high quality childcare and education lo approximately 90 children belween the ages of 2-5 years. Assisting parents in preparing children for school and achieving above the national average in their level of development. Supporting children and their families with additional educational needs. Signposting families and carers lo various support agencies and resources when required. Facilitaling family leaming courses for families and c2rers. Running a parent and toddler group for 2 hours weekly during term time for families and children aged 0-3 years from the local community. It is my responsibility lo.. examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145{5)Ib) of the Charities Act, and to slate whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independenl My examination was carrie(l out in accordance with general Directions given examiner's statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented wilh those records.
