The trustees ensure that church Servi are continually freely open to anyone who wishes to attend, and actively encourage attendan. Social responsilylty and care will continue to be promoted among regular attendees. specifically expanding on the Christian principle of loving one's neighbour in conduct and practice. This benefits the social statu5 of the local communty and general public. There is nothing in the purposes which should lead to hami, but safeguards are in pla (e.g. DBS checks for volunteers workn.ng wrth chisdren's groups). Decisions over who benefrts from the church are guided by the Christian faith itself, which indudes evangelism as a core element. It is therefore seff-defining to L¥ing benefft to people beyond the immediate local church. The Constituiion has clear guKlelines on confficts of interest and Fersonal beneffts (using 5xoforma wording in the model from the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches IFIEC)). The church does operate a membership for vthich there is no charge,. membership is bound to agreement to the Basis of Farth in the Constitution. As such, members are bound also to the advanment of the Christian fa¢th and to the fijlfilment of the purposes of the church, to the benefit of the general public in the communty. All servi$ and meets.ngs are clearly publicised outside the building, in lrterature. and online. The facilrties are locked when unoccupied. All seNices and activities are open to the pu1C. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Vlthen not in the pandemic lockdowns. there have continued to be two services every Sunday open to the public and actively promoted by the membership. Ilthen unable to meet in person due to loGkdown restrictions, sep4ices were streamed online. A special online Christmas Servi included a nativity perfomied and recorded at the local primary school. which induded a Christmas message from the head teacher. The weekly tenn4ime Parent & TdIer group is nomially well-attended by the general public Ixrt had to be suspended throughout this accounting period. In lieu, two of the leaders continued to hold live singing times on FaboOk. interacting wtth parents, carers and children in real time. This develoFtd fijrther by provKling crafts and activities to try to maintain links in the community. A number of eldet1y adults also watched these live events and tEnefftted greaty from sense of comrnunity they provided durir¥J isolalion. The weekly coffee morning also had to suspended due to the pandemic. The Pastor has wepared a number of onlire assemblies for the local school. increasing the &Yareness of the church and having a positive moral impact on the communrty. This culminated in a Year 5 Musical Nativrty perfom)ed and rewded at the sch(x in tk¢emter and shtrhm in the online Chrtstmas service. Wthen the Coronavirus lockdown restri(ions tegan to ease towards the eThl of this period, plans were in pla and advertised for a partial re- opening of the Parent & Toddler group (with new Covid-safe measures in place).
