Para 1.20 During the last year the committee has
maintained the Village Hall by re -plastering and
redecorating some areas of hall, we have had
some areas of the outside walls repointed, and
are in the process of receiving quotes for the
refurbishment of the toilets. The hall accepted a
donations by hall users, and is utilising these
(along with raised funds) to improved facilities for
users. Bookings have been slowly increasing,
with a restructure of booking costs implemented.
The hall has hosted concerts, fundraising events,
school events, local sporting events, and regular
practice session for the local brass band and
bowls club. A number of fundraising events to
bolster village hall funds have been held by the
committee during the summer to enable
maintenance work to be carried out, with more
fundraising events planned for the next year.
